Men are lonely and often do not have a productive setting to explore their sexual integrity. The temptation is to discover, change, and fix these challenges on our own, which often times leads us into more behaviors that are incongruent with our desire to live with integrity. We all desire to live a truthful life. Because of the shame, we often attempt to fix our lives on our own, especially with porn. But that rarely, if ever, truly works. Recovery happens in relationships, not in isolation.
This group will blend the principles of the 12-steps in the context of a therapeutic support group to help men grow and heal their sexual integrity. We will explore the impact of shame on our sexuality and overall relational capacity.
Participants are asked to commit to a minimum of 12-weeks. Weekly meetings will consist of interpersonal dialogue amongst participants, didactic teaching, and individual assignments.
