:: About Me ::
I am a Masters level therapist practicing in the Middle Tennessee area. I am comfortable working with any and all issues in life but mainly work with couples, men, and adolescent boys. I specialize in working with men who are wrestling with what it means to be a man, relationship or work issues, anger management, and confidence. I work hard to encourage men to hold onto both strength and tenderness in all relationships.

In couples work, I’m gifted at being able to bring couples to a place of sorting through issues of responsibility, sexual intimacy, and parenting. I also enjoy working with adolescent boys. I co-authored "So You Want to be a Teenager", a book focusing on issues that pre-teens experience as they become a teenager.  I have lived in the Nashville area on and off for the past 10 years.

:: Therapeutic Approach ::

I believe that each person is created as a unique and individual person. Thus my practice and approach is eclectic and multi-faceted. I mainly approach therapy from a relational and interpersonal foundation that focuses on the relational dynamics existing between therapist and client. I take seriously the spiritual component of therapeutic issues and, without imposing my views, am happy to discuss this with anyone who wishes. My hope is to invite each client to encounter his/her humanness and encourage him/her towards autonomy and relational intimacy. I believe in the healing process of therapy which is why I actively pursue my own personal therapy.
