They are in the meat locker, Rocky is punching some cows, and Paulie asks him about his sister:<\/div>\n<div>\u201cYou really like her? I don\u2019t get it, what\u2019s the attraction?\u201d<\/div>\n<div>\u201cI don\u2019t know, fills gaps I guess.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>\u201cWhat\u2019s gap\u2019s\u201d<\/div>\n<div>&#8220;I dunno. I\u2019ve got gaps, she\u2019s got gaps. Together we fill gaps.\u201d<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>(this whole blog post is so much better if read in Rocky\u2019s voice)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Gaps are why we love (and hate) relationships. We have gaps, we need others to fill our gaps, and we need to fill others gaps. How many of us are <a href=\"http:\/\/samuelrainey.com\/blog\/2010\/04\/comfort-the-enemy-of-success\/\">comfortable<\/a> with our gaps, as much (or little) as they are filled?<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>So often we are begging for our gaps to be filled, instead of being the one who fills gaps.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The great philosopher, Rocky Balboa, is talking to his manager Paulie.
